The Apothecary is a working house. The courtyard is where a reader arrives. The workbench sits in the Workshop. From there the rooms open into the kinds of questions I keep returning to.

Nothing here needs to be finished before it is useful. A batch can be raw, steeping, trusted, or wrong on purpose. The point is to keep enough of the work visible that the next visit begins with evidence instead of a vague memory.

The Labels

Reagent

An observation or question gathered before I understand it.

Tincture

A batch I came back to and changed.

Elixir

A batch that held up in explanation and use.

Failed batch

A conclusion that broke, kept with the observation that corrected it.

The Method has the full transitions. The labels describe how settled a batch is. They do not say which room it belongs in.

The Rooms is the courtyard map: what each room holds, what is warm on the workbench, and where a public batch will appear as it earns its shelf.

The Formulary explains the house, its method, lettering, and voice. Search and the graph connect individual batches once you have found a room worth entering.

The Catalogue is the reference shelf: starting points, links, and the reason each one stays in the house.

This is a public record of learning in motion. The private notebook remains private; a public page is something deliberately offered, never the accidental shadow of the work behind it.
